Hey, I'm trying to root a friend of mine's D1. I downloaded and installed easyroot, and ran it. It rooted fine, but then when I rebooted and reopened the app, it started over. Any idea on how to fix this?

If the phone has 2.2 or 2.2.1 it cannot be rooted with easy root.

Check the link in my signature, or try searching for superoneclick.

I think easy root worked with 2.1. 2.2 was the issue.

You'll need to use link 2 in my signature or superoneclick. I'd recommend link 2 because if you're hooking your phone up to your computer via USB anyway... Might was well get the custom recovery image as well.

Yup yup. And actually easyroot used to work on 2.2 when it was FRG01B. Once we got the newer 2.2/FRG22D the exploit easyroot used was closed.
