Is there an easy way to remove the clock on the status bar?

I know other ROMS have scripts or patch files. Does the Beast have any such 'beast?'

    Tried XUltimate.

When I chose the option for "remove clock" it says "error - no deodexed file"

I'm guessing that has to do with the nextang theme I'm running.

    any other suggestions?

You forgot to set uX for already deodexed phones (option #3 on advenced menu screen #1)

    Steps (by numbers):
1 -> wait till complete -> hit any key to continue
2 -> wait till complete -> hit any key to continue
    15 -> Advanced menu
3 -> wait till complete -> hit any key to continue
5 -> wait till complete -> hit any key to continue -> yes, transfer to phone -> yes, reboot phone

Ok, that should be it if I remember correctly.

I think yours is slightly off --unless its just too early for me to properly follow directions ;-) --. I found the following on another site but figured I'd repost here cause it worked! Share the love!

Step 1: alright so first thing is go here and download xultimate (thanks to xeudoxus for this program):

Step 2: download that file and extract to C:\xultimate

Step 3: Make sure phone is not mounted and usb debugging is turn on

Step 4: Now open Main.exe for xultimate (you should have the white screen with options like 1 2 and so on right)

Step 5: Choose Option 1 (if asked do you want to delete files in origi_app say YES)

Step 6: Choose Option 2 (if asked do you want to delete files in origin_frame say YES)

Step 7: Choose Option 15 (advance menu)

Step 8: Choose Option 3 (ONLY do this once, if you did it once then thats it per this rom/phone - skip to step 10)

Step 9: Choose Option 15 (advance menu)

Step 10 Choose Option 5 (remove clock)

Step 11: Transfer the changes to your phone say YES

Step 12: Say Yes to reboot

Step 13: Reboot might take a bit because it is rehashing and checking the folders but yes that is it, it should be gone when you get back in:icon_ banana:

Where are my manners? Thanks @ZeroBarrier for the help. I really appreciate it.

and now that I look, yours is right except for going back to the advanced menu after running the setuX the first time.

Yeah, I just noticed that too. Sorry about that.

Was doing it off of memory; since I didn't do it for the ROM I'm running now (CM 6.0 RC1), it already has an option inside the phone menu to remove the clock and change all the notification colors. Cool stuff.

    Very interested in this solution...

I'm very interested in getting rid of the status bar clock as well. Is this fine to use on any Bugless Beast version? I noticed this post is a bit old now, so I'm wondering if anything has changed since then that would render this solution useless.

Currently running a fresh install of BB v0.6.1 and testing out the uncapped data mod that user "yakitori" (sp?) provided not long ago here on droidforums.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
