Just wanted to say thanks. It worked great and was the easiest around Hands Down! thanks again
worked perfectly thanks man!!!!!!!
should sticky this
It worked for me using (0.15.0), try using a different sd card.
I do have to say i have been trying all rooting and unrooting that everyone has on here. this was by far the easiest to unroot my phone. Mods please sticky this.
This worked great. Very easy. Thank you!
This was great! I thought I bricked my phone but then I proceeded forward with your recommendation of wipe data/factory reset, which helped the phone boot. So this was super cool and easy and thank you!
works great! Thanks! I really didn't want to re-root my phone to get the superuser permissions off... SWEET! :icon_ banana:
Keeping this close just in case
I did this, but the little super user icon is still there? Am I still rooted? If not, how can I get rid of that icon? If yes, should i do this and then factory reset it? Or factory reset it, then do the update.zip thing.
Look for it in data, or try removing it from the Applications menu.
Ok, I downloaded the update.zip, loaded it on the root of SDcard, installed update.zip, wiped cache partition, rebooted - and I'm still rooted:huh:
So it has come to my attention that the update.zip was, unknowingly to me, replaced with the droid-root update.zip, which it shouldn't be. I've replaced it back with the 2.0.1 OTA Maintenance update that will unroot your phone properly. If you tried this method and were still rooted with sprecovery, redownload this and try again.
