Easier way to skip a song?

I have recently taken to driving with my droid as my audio player. changing the volume is not a problem, I can either do it with the Volume rocker or on the car radio itself. But when I want to change a song I have to turn it on, swipe it, and then find the next button and hit it. Does anyone know of an app or feature that makes this easier for me. If I had more time on my hands I might take a shot at making an app that did the iPod nano style shake-to-skip feature but maybe there is already an app on the market. Any ideas? thanks.

you can dl the app "ScreenModeWidget" it has 3 settings for keeping the screen awake, turn off/but doesn't lock, or normal. It will cut out 2 of the steps you just mentioned (press power, swipe to unlock)

Thanks, I think this is a partial solution, because I think the battery would run down pretty fast with the screen constantly on, but thanks for the tip.
