If you are an arcade style car racing game fan, Electronic Arts just issued an exciting press release. Apparently, they are revisiting the Need For Speed Most Wanted series with a reboot, and will be launching it simultaneously on multiple platforms including Android! Here's the full press release below and a video above:

sounds interesting, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one. I LOVED playing Asphalt 6 and NFS Hot Pursuit on my Kindle Fire so I have been looking for a new race game, too bad it looks like I'll have to wait till October or November to get it.

I was a big fan of the Most Wanted series. I may get it, but not on my phone/tablet. Unless I can connect my PS3 controller to it and use that, I don't like how racing games are played on phones/tablets.

Honestly, I think the accelerometer steering makes more sense than steering with a tiny analog stick or d-pad, but that's just me. I actually think that racing games are much better on phones/tablets than most other genre of games.
