usb mass storage would be best, anything that allows adb to access your system files

Great idea.

I've been thinking of doing the same, but I'm always too lazy. Seems strange since I sit here doing it manually when just about every rom comes out.

Thanks........

I've only tested it on the Droid X, but can say that it will work on every Droid X rom. As far as other phones, I don't know, feel free to try.

Well, now this would be great for an experiment!

I know that with the use of radiocomm it is possible to disable the throttle on any phone, i am just completely in the dark about which values to edit, or what to change them to.(lost the thread where it is discussed in depth actually)

Anyways, since the radio hardware for phone models are different, i am fairly certain that it will not work. Any chance of bricking my radio trying this out?

No chance of brick. The program checks for the correct files to modify. Those files are within system only. If it can't find the files, it discontinues the procedure.

yes but I've actually updated 1.1 since it was released. if you downloaded it tonight then you have the correct version. it should tell you if there is an error rather than just sitting there.

Got a strange error running the batch file.

An Error Has Occurred.

Procedure has been halted due to the following error: 2794 KB/s (741062 bytes in 0.259s)

Then it reboots my phone and I'm back up and running.

Connected USB Mass Storage on a Droid X with debugging enabled on phone.

Just uploaded a new version which will disregard the file transfer as an error. Sorry about that. Please re download and let me know if the new version works for you.

Sorry forgot to say that it does work even with that error just thought I'd mention it so it wouldn't confuse others. Wireless tethering hasn't throttled down since I did the change and still going strong right now downloading my steam games. Thanks for your work.
