I am receiving a new DX soon and will root it so I can wifi tether to my other devices as well as just have root and do other cool things. I assume it will have 2.2 on it when it arrives. Is there a place to turn off auto OTA updates as I will lose root? The rooting process looks quick and easy and I assume I will have to root upon each update but do not want to lose a rooted phone when not ready.
