DX Power Off issue

Hi,
I have a DX and encountered a e-mail push issue. At some point my DX stops getting e-mail notification eithere through gmail or the other configured ISAP account.
If I push the power Off button it immediately reboots actually. It does not turn off the phone. The email issue does not go away.

However when I pull the batterie and restart the DX it fixes the issue with the e-mail notification.

Does anyone have the same isue or better yet a solution for it.

Do I have a virus on the phone?

Have you tried a cashe clear along with the battery pull?
