DX Navigation - No Text to voice ?

tried to used my DX Navigation and i can see on the screen
where i am going.... but that is def accident waiting to
happen. Why doesnt my DX Navigation give voice
directions? Do i prob need to down load an app
of some kind? TIA

What exact Navigation Tool are you using? I know you said your "DX Navigation", but I have to assume you mean the app that has the "blue arrow" icon? If so, I dont know why you wouldnt be hearing the directions...mine worked by default. All I can suggest at this point is to make sure you do not have the app "muted" inside the app.

Open the app and select a location to navigate to...when the map is opened and working, select the menu button and then check to see of the app has been "muted"...if so, tap it to un-mute it and all should be well...

yes i do mean the Droid X Navigation blue arrow app in the phone.
I will chk the mute and see if i get voice. Thxs

I know on 2.1 I had to download the voice app that nav uses. Check in your system settings for text to voice, if you dont have an engine listed you should be able to download one from the market through there.

reboot. so now i have
