So installed the SDK so that I could change the boot animation. Since then I've noticed that EVERY SINGLE FILE on my macbook pro (including the desktop) have a .DS_Store file in it. I can't delete these. When I try to delete them they just immediately come back in the file. Is this normal? Did I do something wrong? How can I get rid of them?

thats mac for ya... i believe there is a .dstore in every folder on the computer. its a hidden file that i believe stores some thumbnail type data (somethign like that). don't worry about them, it's all normal behavior. Maybe you are just viewing them now, because you were set to ignore system files previously.

You're right. I didn't have it set to view hidden files before I did the boot animation install. I guess I should have thought about that. I'll just have to switch it back. I don't like files on my desktop.

Thanks guys. I was really unsure what was going on.
