Upgrading droidx2 to gingerbread?

I know i need to root the phone but has anyone done this yet? I know i need to get the phone rooted, i recently got this done but still can't find any topics specific tutorials for installing gingerbread.

alright thx now i just need to try and figure out how i can get wifi tethering working >.>
