Hello all. Im here for a couple of reasons; 1. Ive a Droidx that is so-o-o slow and is Only android v.2.3.4. I figured Id try to thwart the software to ROOT it. (2) Ive a SGS2 Epic4G touch, locked bootloader on Sprint. This last Ive tried adb and fastboot, though Ive the phones drvrs
on an xp dell, and even dwnld eclipse adt, and odin v.3.07, and still can't get "shell". Does anyone have anythig?

I had a Droid X couple of years back. The only way to root it was to use an app called "Bootstrap" which allowed you to install custom roms and all the other goodies.
