I've uninstalled and reinstalled it a few times, but it seems to be the culprit, as I don't have the problem when it's not installed (unless it's another app conflicting with it, and the other App is really the problem).

After installation, everything seems fine. Reboot? Fine. About an hour later, really really laggy. Soon, frozen. Try to go to "home", and maybe if I leave the phone alone for about 10 minutes, it'll be back to the home screen, but still barely responsive.

Only way to shut it down is to pull the battery.

After reboot, everything seems back to normal...then an hour or so later...same thing.

Anyone else experience this with DroidSecurity?

I love the FindR feature. Can you get this by itself?

If the FindR feature you're talking about is a locator app, there's several. Where's My Droid comes to mind and its possible to create a Tasker profile to do it as well.

Yeah, yeah.. I'm on my phone. So?

take it off, you dont need it. Personally I use wavesecure cuz it was free when I got it, but now it costs money.

Antivirus apps are as unneeded on the entire Droid lineup as a Task Killer. There are no viruses for the Android OS.

They are selling snake oil.

The ONLY useful portion of the "security" apps is remote wipe and locking.
