DROIDS and WiFi

Where i work...there is currently no Verizon in the building.
If i have a good WIfi connection should i be able to surf the web and run apps?

You can run most apps anywhere, but in answer to your question...yes you can.

Watch out for some "Free" Wifi spots as you may not be able to run some apps. For example, at Borders books I can't run apps like Amazon, Savvy Shopper, Speed Test or BettrFlickr.

do you not know what wifi is?

its wireless internet...when you connect to it on your droid you connect to the internet. internet makes everything work, except phone calls.

And wifi uses less battery power than going thru the cell network so you should use it when you can. Oh, and it is faster too.

wifi = wireless internet
3g = wireless internet from Verizon via satellites

and when you say you have no Verizon service are you talking about phone reception? or 3g service?
