    I'm using droidmod 1.0 and metamorph and for some reason all the themes are giving me black text on the black taskbar. Anyone else having this problem?

    The DroidMod comes with a black clock and some other black fonts. You have to change the system.jar file to a white clock if you want to use dark themes.

    I rooted with DroidMod for the first time last night and Then used metamorph to instal StanRC's Blackmod which is basically using black framework with a white clock and letters for the notification bar and then i Installed the metamorph high res blue theme over that and it works just fine. I have the black status bar with the white clock and text. looks great and was super easy to do.

    There is a much easier way to do this then using xultimate.

    Here is the info (credit goes to xformulax for this info being posted below);
    use terminal on the phone with services.jar (here is a link to where to grab the services.jar file When you can't read your clock...)

    d/l services.jar to your sd card (instructions use /sdcard/download)

    open terminal

    su
    mount -o remount,rw /system
    mv /system/framework/services.jar /system/framework/services.bak
    mv /sdcard/download/services.jar /system/framework/services.jar
    chmod 644 /system/framework/services.jar
    sync
    reboot

    so we type all that exactly? no hooking phone to computer? And when you say sync, what do you mean by that?

    But infiniti, is there is just a file I can install that would be easier.

    Yes you type that exactly as shown. Right on your phone using terminal emulator (i use better terminal emulator pro) after each line you will press enter. Sync is telling it to sync the file with the commands you entered

    Tu3218, my mistake, i just found the link for you and its called stanrc's black bar. Flash it to your phone using metamorph. After you install it, get the Metamorph High Res Blue theme.zip file and UNZIP it. Thats the only way i found to get it to load properly. Once unzipped put it in your android theme file, unmount your SD card and enter metamorph. Instead of clicking on new themes click on "existing themes". You should see the highres.zip file. click through it until you see the highres.thm file. just look for the file with .thm it will then extract the files and restart your phone as usual and you should be up and running. Those are the exact steps i took. Let me know how it goes. Heres the link: http://endlessobsessions.com/ryan/blackmod.zip
