I've had problems with Chrome that I haven't had with any browser. There's a known issue with Chrome not liking some websites and liking others. If you do a Google search on Chrome and Gmail being incredibly slow, you'll find a lot - maybe even some of my own posts.
I too have had an issue with Chrome sitting for 30+ seconds before loading a DroidForums webpage (this was earlier this year). I couldn't figure out why, and I'm a religious user of CCleaner.exe (I do IT work for several plastic surgeons here in Los Angeles so computers are not new to me).
Chrome also has issues with printing (can't preview prints) -- prints several blank pages at the end for no reason or cuts off words on the right/bottom portions of the page.
I've just ended up going back to Firefox. Chrome is nice but Firefox is more stable.
