Droid2 issues w/ wifi? Specifically with WEP?

I'm beginning to suspect that the Droid2 (or, at the very least, my Droid2) has issues with wifi, in particular with networks secured with WEP. I'm currently running the stock/OTA Gingerbread, which appears to be the most stable, in that it seems to hand off fairly smoothly between 3g and wifi networks that are WPA2 or unencrypted. But, with WEP networks it just doesn't seem to pair up when the network comes in range.

Anyone else notice behavior like this?

I'm having the same problem D:

My keyboard started getting really messed up because of the new system update, but it got fixed so I'm wondering if the wifi thing is a glitch from the update as well?
