Is anyone else having a problem with the vibration on their Droid X2? My phone doesn't vibrate when i receive text messages or when i select things on the screen. All the settings for vibrate are on and I've even done a factory restart. Any advice?

Sounds like a motor problem if you can't get it to vibrate at all. Probably need to have it replaced.

Care to elaborate how a task killer fixed the problem? Just curious as typically when a phone won't vibrate no matter what, it's the tiny micro motor which provides the vibration, that has failed.

I keep calling it the wrong thing. It was sound manager.

So you downloaded sound manager? Is that an app? If so, then that app or a factory reset may fix the OP's problem.

A factory reset won't fix it but sound manager will. Atleast it did for me and the other poster who told me about it.

Great info to know. I never would have thought anything like that would fix the issue. Thanks for clearing that up.
