Are you just stock?
Try rebooting into recovery and wiping the cache partition...
Power off... Hold home + power... You'll see the Android dude pop up.. Press both volume buttons.. Then use volume down to scroll to write cache partition.. Then press power to select

"I'll get you my little pretty... And your little dog todo too"
"I don't even have a little dog todo"

Nemo, just performed a cache clear per your instructions. Thanks.
That's something I've done on my desktop/laptop machines before,
clearing the cache, makes sense. Other answers out in the web were 1.)
battery life and 2.) do a factory reset and add back your apps one by
one until you encountered the problem again. Your answer was a much
cleaner, more direct approach. Thanks again.
My phone is stock but if you can suggest other enhancements please do.

Glad to hear that helped...

Well... That's what I love it's your choice... But for me... Nothing beats routing and throwing a custom rom on there

Did you have a different solution ??
Remember Nemo's fix will take a few days to
bear out. What did you have in mind?
