Are you just stock?
Try rebooting into recovery and wiping the cache partition...
Power off... Hold home + power... You'll see the Android dude pop up.. Press both volume buttons.. Then use volume down to scroll to write cache partition.. Then press power to select

That's something I've done on my desktop/laptop machines before,
clearing the cache, makes sense. Other answers out in the web were 1.)
battery life and 2.) do a factory reset and add back your apps one by
one until you encountered the problem again. Your answer was a much
cleaner, more direct approach. Thanks again.
My phone is stock but if you can suggest other enhancements please do.
