I ordered mine at wirefly.(my phone contract is elgible to upgrade in 8/2010).

However, they canceled it saying Verizon told them I am not eligible.

What kind of crap is this???????????????????????????
Verizon was suppose to let anyone upgrade whose contract ends in 2010?
IS verizon scamming people or wirefly?

Not surprising when you deal with a third party dealer. Call Verizon and ask them why. They will give you the straight scoop.

Best buy said i wasnt eligible but i was able to order my X from verizonwireless.com with no problems.

You can upgrade your phone at any time with Verizon directly, however as a third party dealer, Wirefly cannot upgrade your phone/account unless you are at the end of your current contract.

You can upgrade your phone at any time with Verizon directly, however as a third party dealer, Wirefly cannot upgrade your phone/account unless you are at the end of your current contract.

I worked the phone on both verizon and wirefly for about 8 hours total and finally got the phone.. Enjoying it!!!!

JVMXTRA, what were the magic words? Same thing just happened to me. Verizon had told me I could upgrade, and then Wirefly cancelled my order because they said I couldn't upgrade.
