I had to use a laptop hooked up to my 360 via Ethernet cable and have my phone as a wifi hotspot connected to the computer. I tried Easytether and PDAnet but they didn't work

Hook up the phone to the laptop/computer. Make sure your tethering method is on.

Go into your network connections. Right click the connection. Properties> advanced steering. Click onshare Internet with other devices. Select Lan.
Hit ok...

Now either hook up the ethernet cable into the xbox, or a router.

Internet should be shared.

This works for windows xp.

If you need vista or mac. Youtube video on Internet sharing will explain it.

Enjoy.
