Ya..the blackberry is a joke compare to this. Im a little disappointed that it does the rebooting by itself. It just did it again. This is all happening after the update.u guys found a solution yet?

Not sure. I switched rom's and it doesn't happen on there now. It may be a glitch in the file. No way to really tell I don't think cause you can't redownload the ota update.

I just did a factory reset. Lost all my apps. history except the purchased ones. Is there a way to get the history back without guessin one by one?

Not unless you did a backup of the apps with an app like titanium backup I don't think.

My X is a week old and suffers from random reboots too. I took it to the Verizon store yesterday. They installed Advance Task Killer. One reboot since then. :(

Sorry about the PITA of losing all your apps, but I am certainly interested in if this fixed your problems.

So far so good. No random reboots. As far as apps. go ill just have to do it one by one. Should have backed em' up. My mistake. If I miss any means that I don't really needed that app :)
ill post if reboots start happening.

best solution

I now keep my droid x in charge only mode.

Whether its xp or win 7 I can still access the sd card and do as i wish.

seems to be a MAJOR bug with 340 ...

Merry Christmas Everyone...dancedroid

When mine is in charge mode my Win 7 reports it as an empty CD drive.

Still good...havent had any random reboots yet. I guess it is safe to assume that the factory reset is the solution.
