Droid X Reset

Just passing on a tip.

Last Friday my Droid X started to reset itself every minute or so. I tried all of the usual things including uninstalling the latest apps, removing the battery, etc. with no joy. I took it to a corporate Verizon store and the tech fixed it by first removing the battery, then holding down the power button for a few seconds.

He said holding down the power button removes any residual stored energy and clears the ROM.
