It must be a bad phone
but I did have so many issues I care to list, it basically wouldn't let me do anything after 24hrs from update. I made sure nothing old could enter before I finished reset. Then put back memory card and added backup sync and accounts. Sorry it didn't work for you.

I thought that too about mine because before this update I could barely hear this thing. Froyo seemed to help unless I'm just used to it. Goodnight and good luck!

What do you mean by go "N2 privacy"?

And by doing this, will I lose all my contact data?

Another question....did you have trouble with your camera/camcorder after the froyo update?

After you go INTO Settings, go INTO a section called Privacy. You will see it as one of the options.

The contact data should come back once you go into you BACKUP ASSISTANCE. You set-up when you first received the phone.

& YES, I'd press camera and it wouldn't come up and sometimes it would open and close back up. I saw a plain black screen a lot trying to do anything after the update.
