...or wait for the incredible 2 since its specs will blow the droid x and droid pro out of the water.

I believe that the Incredible is an Android phone. I don't consider it a true Droid because it's not from Motorola.

I understand it's labeled a Droid because Verizon did so but IMHO it's an Android phone.

    Is that clear?;)

Incredible imo. Moto blur is ugly imo. Vzw cant sell the devour because people hate it so much. Sense ui is amazing. I prefer the moto droid one, but if u must go incredible imo

The version of blur on the Droid x is a completely different version than what is on the devour. It is new and is supposedly much less invasive. I believe you also have the option of turning it off whenever you want.

got it! ...but you know, they're all android phones. if it makes the moto owners feel more important to have the "droid" moniker all to themselves then whatever floats your boat. ;)

personally i think my moto droid was a great phone, but i also think my htc inc is a great phone in it's own right. my experience with each wouldn't keep me from trying either of the brands going forward as long as it has the android os on it.

I think your HTC Incredible is a great phone too. I have plenty of respect for it.

But I would prefer to see that Motorola kept the Droid name.

I must agree with you, the Droid name cost an arm and a leg, and to tie it down to one manufacture would be bad business in my view.

@hookbill "I am still from camp Moto rulz:)"
