Whatup X 2.2 users, wanna test an OC app for me? email me@ [email protected]

once i get it tested it'll be added to Absolute System for all that use my app

the concept seems super simple! just don't have a droid x to test one

Alittle bit of info, i've gathered, it's not scientific but a base to play with

Custom Settings you pick four slots

slot4 = highest
slot3 = next step down
slot2 = next down
slot1 = lowest

I've heard max voltage shouldn't exceed 96

Max i've seen used is 76 @ 1450

So you pretty much just wanna try low first

say
slot4 = 1100
slot4_v = 60
slot3 = 900
slot3_v = 58
slot2 = 700
slot2_v = 50

slot1 = 400
​

slot1_v = 44

Just play around, only change one at a time
say max, so if the example above works, next try

slot4 = 1150 <-changed
slot4_v = 62 <--changed
----------------------------
slot3 = 900 <-same
slot3_v = 58 <-same
slot2 = 700 <-same
slot2_v = 50 <-same
slot1 = 400 <-same
slot1_v = 44 <-same

pretty much keep your voltages

slot4 58 - 80
slot3 50 - 62
slot2 40 - 55
slot1 33 - 45

or

if by frequencies

1000 - 1100 -> voltages(58-65)
1150 - 1250 -> voltages(60-70)
1300 - 1450 -> voltages(65-80)

you'll just have to tweak your phone and find what works best
not all phones are the same so it's alittle tricky
but just start stock and work your way up on slot4 til you find one you like

after that you can tweak the others

I'm gonna end up making it alot easier to customize
just got the rough draft up today.

cool, so each time you set a new speed it showed your settings under the buttons?

yep, tried each one and it popped up. all slots were in setcpu, and i even cross checked it with jrummys overclock app and his detection showed the speeds i set in your program

k, thanks, we'll get it sorted out once i get customizing in, have you tried any other OC apps? if so what voltages have worked for you phone? Have you been able to OC past 1.1ghz?

can you run milestone oc, set your OC, then in terminal or adb type

su
cat /proc/overclock/mpu_opps

and paste me the results?

updated OP with new Test

i added the option to set a custom Max V and Max Frequency

if you get a chance, i'd suggest try a higher voltage@first, say 60-70
and try with max frequency of 1000 at first

so maybe start with
maxV = 65
maxFreq = 1000

if that holds, then bump up the maxFreq to 1100
if that doesn't work then bump maxV up to say 67-70
and try 1100 again
