Hello,
I am building a dock for my droid. Going to mill it out of aluminum, except am not sure about the magnet putting it into multimedia mode.
I got a nice small magnet from hobby lobby that seems to do the trick. But sometimes it does not always want to go into the same mode. Sometimes switching the polarity does not work, and the magnet seems to find different locations.
Does anyone know exactly where the magnetic sensor is on the droid x? I do not want to risk mine by taking it apart. Also, is it the same for the droid 2?
Any help would be appreciated.
