If u hdmi'd a movie on the Droid to a TV would the battery of the phone even last? What I u get text messages while ur watching the movie?

I believe it outputs 720p. I think it is a nice feature. Although I believe it would kill your batter but hell, I keep my Droid plugged in almost everywhere I go. If I had the "X" I would do the same. I like that they are upgrading processors in phones but I think the next "breakthrough" should be better batteries. I'm sure they are out there.

As for the text thing, you will be able to receive texts while watching a movie. The whole thing about Android is "Multi-Tasking" isn't it? "P

Let me rephrase that. You would be able to RECEIVE texts. To reply I'm guessing you would have to stop the movie.

the new droid x is huge. I just got a new phone friday and decided to go with the old droid b/c it is a bit smaller.
