Droid X lost/deleted all my photos from SD card.

So I came from a Droid 1 and when I received my droid X i just kept using my micro sd card since it had all my photos and music from the 5 months that I used my D1. When I plugged it into my computer for the first time to add a video to my computer I couldn't find it on the sd card through the computer. I unplugged it and inserted it back into my phone and noticed there was only about 10 photos on it and I did have approx 100. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Were the 10 pictures taken on the Droid X?

I wonder if it could be an MTP / MSC (USB mode) issue.

you might not have safely ejected it from your PC. this might be the culprit. if you dont do every time (either when taking it out of the phone or PC), you run the risk of losing information on it

If taken with the stock camera they should be on the SD card in the DCIM folder.

do you still have the D1? go in and click gallery and see what comes up

just checked my D1 and no albums were there, all were either added on to the SD card or taken with the stock camera.

Perhaps you inadvertantly reformatted the SD card when you put it in the DX?

that is the only thing I can think of. I was just excited my DX finally came in.

OK, because depending on the USB mode files can appear to have disappeared. I don't know if this is possible in your case though.
