Keyboards are not typically installed as zips. Usually they are .apk install

When installing the DroidX or Droid2 keyboard, a /system/lib file also needs to be replaced. That's why those keyboards are generally distributed as a .zip update. I'm not sure.if the DroidX keyboard ever got fully functional or not, but the Droid2 one works and is basically the same (if not the same).

I attached the zip for the Droid2 keyboard. Here is a link with themed versions, thanks to theBowers. http://www.droidforums.net/forum/thebowers/78238-droid-2-keyboard-mods.html

You might want to try one of the themed ones from the link I provided. The stock Droid 2 file I attached might have been an older one.

That's very odd because the keyboards all render correctly on my phone. I'm not using MIUI though. Wish I could be of more assistance.

just change the extensions to .apk

This is the Dinc Keyboard and Clicker for the input vibrate.

i've got full auto correct and dictionary thanks to google and dphase.

if you want the files i'll host them for you, but i'm not going to provide support, so you need to understand how to push 2 files and alter permissions, either with adb or something like root explorer.

    http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4221310/libjni_latinime.so

latinime.apk goes in /system/app/ ... to make things easier i renamed latinimegoogle.apk(stock miui keyboard) to latinimegoogle.bak and moved latinime.apk and renamed to latinimegoogle.apk so it was the default keyboard. i had to alter permissions so they matched that of the original latinimegoogle.apk (644).

libjni_latinime.so goes in /system/lib/, you'll have to do the same as the apk... rename the original and put the new one in, also change permissions (644).

there is an easier way to install this keyboard via zip file. I dont know if we are allowed to post links to other forums (some forums dont like that) but I found it on another android forum and it installed perfectly for me.
