Droid X keeps freezing, even after hard factory reset.

So I got this phone from a friend since my Droid Charge kept dying on me. Was hoping to finally have a working phone. 2 days after I got it, it froze in the motorola logo all night. Through taking out the battery and trying to get it into boot mode, which is almost impossible since the 4 buttons (menu,search, etc.) don't work when it freezes. So last night, I did a hard reboot back to factory. Worked for a few hours, then froze again in my text menu, while I was texting people.

What else can I try. I really need the phone to work just for calls and texting mainly.

This problem is why I upgraded to something different. Wife's DX never had an issue. Mine continued to get more and more buggy. No amount of resets would cure it. There's Craigslist or the Best Buy resell site.

Ya, think I'm just gonna have to get another phone. It's really jacked up now and won't let me reboot. I'm actually trying to fix my Droid Charge now so I can use it as a replacement for now. It dies in like 5 mins. really annoying.
