Well I haven't read anything about anyone actually receiving the update, so I guess we all got out hopes up for nothing? Any chance this update is still happening?

yup no update here yet either. i sell verizon phones and our rep was in yesterday and said he had not herd any thing about an update for the droid x.

Never get your hopes up for ANY date concerning Verizon updates/phone releases. They usually never happen on the dates given 99% of the time.

Yeah, my phone just says "Checking for available update. Please wait..." and spins forever...
