When I choose the rom and then choose yes, it gets to "installing" and then the bar does not move and no new text appears. i have tried this with both Rubix and Apex. I have cleared cached data, factory reset, and cannot figure out what is wrong. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank!

Are you using Rom Manager? Have you tried flashing in clockworkmod recovery?

I have not used rom manager. I am using the clockworkmod recovery. The zip file is on the SD card, not in a file (which is what every tutorial that i have seen has said to do)
