Droid X camera is disapointing (pictures inside) Including OUTDOOR photos

All my pictures are coming out crap! Everything is in auto. Might return it just because of this because i love taking pictures. Now I tested outdoors... and the results are ... worse

Those are great phone cam pics.

Not sure of a phone with better pics. Though supposedly the iP4 does.

Play with the settings. U can adjust the iso settings and exposure as well

looks like the droid pics...but keep in mind, overblown, overexposed pics (aka iP4 or sony) are actually worse.

we all knew the X's camera was terrible for a long time, where have you been? lol! the iphone 4 takes amazing pics from what ive seen

And of course inside pics are the absolute worse way to test a camera.

When pro's take pics inside they spend an awful lot of money on flashes and accessories to take indoor pics - there's a reason for that.

He just wanted to show his pretty little face off, that's all! Lmao... those compared to the iphoney 4 are pretty much the same. You ain't gonna find anything better than that. I have 5 droid x that I got for the family, including me plus my moto droid.

Lmao. I took pictures of myself too see how they came out.. I look like a mess in those pics .. lmao im deff trying to show off. And I had the nexus one before this and I think that it took better pictures.

by the way theres a few super long threads here comparing the iphone 4 and the x's cameras. iphone wins by a landslide everytime. indoors, outdoors, low light, bright light. doesnt matter

apart from the slightly blurry low light ones I think it's pretty good with light. The first face pic looks sharp to me.

edit: meh nevermind, it looks good enough but I see what you mean lol!

I used an iphone 4 at the mall and u cant tell just by how it takes pictures that its better. It has no shutter lag and the pics come out more focused than the droid x taking like 3 seconds to focus. Iphone is deffenetly better than the droid x camera wise. Wish the droid had the iphone camera

Of course it does - they moved all that silly antenna stuff out of the way of the camera sensor so they'd have camera bragging rights.
