Droid X bootloader hacked?!?!

Nope no sarcasm. And my theory on the efuse is I've used them before so know what they do (make sure electronics don't cook themselves usually) and have had my dx open a few times and haven't come across the chips.

It's time to blow this scene...

As I understand it, the eFuse isn't a seperate component, it's an integral part of the chipset. It's probably somewhere on the CPU die. And an eFuse can have more than just the function you mention.

I would probably wait for the next release, that one will come with the build environment so all you have to do it extract and make.

There is no How-To since this cannot be done yet.....

Here's the howto:
Download the kexec source.
Download the Linux kernel sources
Install an ARM toolchain
Compile Linux
Compile kexec
Copy the finished kexec parts to your phone.
Enjoy.
If it crashes please tell me.

It works on the droid x right now. Drivers don't but I can get other kernels going. No one has tested it on the droid 2 as of yet.
