Droid X Battery life using music player

i was listening to music with everything off including background data..

battery dropped 20% in 2 hours and the phone got hot

i don't think this is normal..

on stock 2.2 froyo

Not normal for me. I've used my phone for mp3's a good 5-7 hours while at work and from a full charge, when I leave I still sitting around 60-70%. And it never gets hot.

I use my phone for like 5 hours a day at work to play music, at the end im left with about 40%

Your phone maybe defective.

Also gets relatively warm by using web for 10min....

My battery also dies very quickly... Gets warm, not hot...

But other than this, I have no issues. I just downloaded Juice defender to test it out, I'll see how this works out for me

I use mixzing when at the gym and rarerly see it go under 90% on a full charge. I'm usually at the gym for 2 hours or more.
