Droid X Android 2.2 (Froyo) Update Ready

If I rooted my 2.1 Droid X do I need to unroot it in order to receive the update?

Just got Froyo.

Do a check or updates and you'll be able to get 2.2. I just did. Downloaded update works perfect.

Okay...I know people that started after me and are now up and running. What do I do if this Motorola M stays on my phone and it won't complete the update? Should I try a battery pull?

I would try that. Mine installed in about ten minutes.
