droid x 2.2 upgrade

I might be buying a pre owned Droid x with 2.1 can I still upgrade to 2.2?

It should OTA update unless some bloatware or something was removed

If it doesn't you can SBF it to the latest version anyway.

Like said above, you can either use the OTA to get to 2.2 if all the system apps are there or you can SBF to 2.2. In order to root Gingerbread, if you want it, root Froyo, get D2 bootstrap and install the 2 part TBH files.
