Droid X 2.2 Rooted using Droid 2 root method

Guys, is there a way to unroot and go back to stock 2.2? After i rooted, my X is all messed up and locks up all the time. Pls help, thx.

everything seemingly went perfectly. I have the # sign when i run adb shell, but still root explorer says it does not have root access... any ideas?

sounds like either su or Superuser.apk didn't get copied to the /system directory correctly. Try copying those files to the system again and retrying.
