You may have to moto-fastboot the 902 images, if rsdlite keeps failing.

Sure. Make sure you have a full battery charge before proceeding.
1. Download and unzip the 902 fxz. Place it on desktop in 1 folder.
2. start RSDLite 5.6
3. turn phone off and turn back on by pressing and holding the volume down and power button at the same time on the phone. You should be in AP fastboot menu now.
4. plug your phone into your pc with the cable that came with the phone.
5. In RSDlite, click on "..." symbol.
6. Find the 5.9.902 file and select that file.
7. On the next pop up, select uncompress and start flashing.
8. Let the program run completely and your phone will reboot a few times.
9. In the end, you should end up with the green android guy to log into google.

well its actually working now. this isn't going to root my phone is it? can i steal use the same root ways i have been or do i need to use something different

To Root 902:
Make sure your device is in USB debugging mode, attach it to your PC. Also, check from "unknown sources"
Then use this to root.. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/63864500/motofail_windows.zip (for windows pc only)
Extract the entire zip file, and execute “run.bat”.

Good step by step directions man! I would also recommend just walking away from the phone for like 20 minutes when it starts to decompress and flash BC if your like me you'll be biting your nails the whole time your watching it lol

Did the motofail. It comes back and says adb is not recognized as an internal or external command. I have usb debugging on and its plugged in but don't think it rooted. By the way i did get the 5-7-902 to work. Thanks a million for that

Make sure the whole motofail zip is unzipped and in 1 folder on your desktop.

yes i had all files in one folder on the desktop. opened that folder and ran run.bat file. it keeps coming back saying the adb is a bad command and fails.

Is your phone on booted in normal mode? Or in AP fastboot?
It needs to be on in normal mode.
Are you using the same PC that worked with RSDlite and has the proper drivers?

My phone is in normal mode. And im using the same pc that i got rsd lite to run on.
