Droid won't even turn on

my droid 1 won't even turn on when plugged into the wall or computer. i'll press the power button, but nothing. the light on the side is on to show its connected but still nothing. any help?

Definitely going to need more info. Are you rooted? Any other problems recently? Most importantly what preceded this? Did you just pull it out of your pocket and it was off?

Let it charge for an hour and try again. If that still doesn't work, try pulling the battery, waiting 30 seconds, then trying again. If you still can't get it to power on, try plugging it into a PC and seeing if it's recognize by the computer. Most likely it's just the battery is too low to power the device on, but it's possible you have a dud. In that case it's a matter for insurance or warranty depending on how long you've had the phone.
