I bought my Droid incredible 2 , 3 months ago and I think I like it.
A couple weeks ago I began to get this boot error saying that mail service has crashed, but the mail app still works. Also about this same time I noticed that when I try to install an app it stops downloading, before the download really starts and says that, "download has failed due to an error.".

Anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this, some possible solutions would be awesome

Thank you in advance

Sounds like an issue with your Gmail account maybe.

Perform the Factory Reset to see if that clears things up. Go to Settings and its under Privacy. Backup things before. Go into Contacts and press Menu and backup to SD Card. Download SMS Backup & Restore to make a backup of your text messages if you need too. Your Apps may or may not restore, depending on what you selected when you first setup. If this doesn't fix things, you may have a defective device and need to get a replacement. Good luck!
