Droid thinks it has no battery

Hey there. I feel really stupid right now. My friend who has an EVO had his battery out and i wanted to see if it would work in my droid. I pushed the contacts on my droid and on his battery together and tried to turn my phone on. It didn't. Now whenever I boot up it tells me I have 0% battery left, even if it's plugged in. It then shuts itself down. So, yeah. Any help would be appreciated. I'm gonna try to wipe and install some ROM and see if that helps. Thanks
