I have a question about how to get your tethering option to work on the droid. I'm running BDV9 and installed the tethering option during install, how do I get it to work? Tether software version is 2.0pre8 thanks.

All you need to do is tap to start tethering and allow root access. It takes 10 seconds.

Start the tethering app and as previously stated give it the SU permissions and then click to start the tethering. A minute or so later you will find a new network named something like androidtether on your computer. Connect to it and away you go.

I downloaded the easytether app. Worked great and only took a minute or two.

Yes, I agree with you. Works flawlessly for me.

Also saves me the $30 monthly Mobile Broadband Plan VZW would have charged for a smarthphone.
