I was really happy with my Droid purchase, and that was before I found out that the Droid plays .ogg files.

When I purchased my music player, I specifically bought one that supports ogg vorbis, the open music format. I ended up with a Cowon D2.

Just transferred my ogg files over to the Droid and they're playing now. Sweet. Out of the box Droid supports lots of music formats including ogg vorbis. Honestly, I'm impressed.

Way to go Verizon! :icon_ banana:

P.S. Anyone want to buy a used Cowon D2?

I just found this out and a I love it. Works really well and sounds better with a smaller file size than mp3. Why do we use mp3 again?

mp3 has been around since 1993 IIRC. That's a whole lot of ripped CDs. :)
