    I was just wondering, since my Droid is rooted does this prevent me from receiving system updates from Verizon/Google? I've seen people saying they got some random update in January and I didn't get it.

    That *update* back in January was a bunch a BS imo

    Root doesn't block official updates....but SPRecovery does. So you're good if you have SPRecovery (which you need if you are rooted)
