Droid on vacation

My sister took my droid on a trip to the Dominican Republic. She wants to use it for internet service.

She called me and said it doesn't seem to work. Pages do not load.

I haven't even thought about this but will it work internationally?

I have the Nationwide Talk 450 and unlimited data plan.

It won't work down there. Tell her to find a WIFI spot and she will be able to use that. The Droid is not a international device

Make sure u tell verizon... or you'll pay a lot dough while roaming...

or better yet.... OFF. where a watch, take a camera.... honestly, she will survive without her Droid for vacation anyways... Too many stories about "not knowing" that something was left on until the bill comes in at the end of the month for $1000.... not worth the risk, or the 10 page thread debating who is truly responsible for the bill..... big bad corporate Verizon, or the sweet and innocent, beatdown consumer who left it on the entire time because they didn't want to wear a watch.
