I have a new 100% certified reconditioned Droid Razr sent from Motorola be cause the Brand New one got the White Light Notification of Death a couple of weeks ago. Now this "New" phone won't stop saying "DROID". over and over and over.

I have removed the SIM card, and the little back card next to it, did a hard reboot...Power Button and volume down and as the phone was rebooting...DROD, DROID, DROID, DROID and so on.

Anyone else have these issues?

OK, this thread has had 23 views, no responses, and I see that other people have had the same issues. I've also noticed that none has been given a "fix" to the issue. I downloaded Addons Dectector and AirPush thing, they did nothing, found nothing. and My phone is still going...Droid, droid, droid.
I've checked all my accounts, nothing new, not texts, nada.

So HOW do I do a factory restart?

Here's how to factory reset:
To reset your device:

1. From the home screen of your phone, press the Menu button

2. Tap Settings

3. Scroll down and tap Privacy

4. Tap Factory Data Reset

5. Check Erase internal storage if you would like to erase all the data on the phone internal storage such as applications, music, movies or photos.
