droid music player wont close.

Everytime I close it or kill it with a task killer it reopens. Even when I restart the entire phone it will open on its own. Now when its open which is almost all the time.. I can't hear my calls out going or in coming AT ALL. Even when my volume is on loud I can barely hear my message notification. Just like I'm listening to music. It will NOT stay closed. Please help!

Try this... from home screen

Menu/settings/applications/manage applications/menu/filter/all

Find your music app in the list and open it... first click clear data... then click force stop... then reboot

Worked for me on the "always open" problem... I never had that notification volume problem though
