Droid incredible haptics not working.

Hi, I'm new rpm this forum. Got a Droid incredible a couple days ago and am loving it. However, my brothers new Incredibles haptics arent working and neither is the vibrate when receiving calls and texts. After he restart it the haptics work for a little while but get progressively weaker until its out. Does anyone know if this is a hardware or software issue and if there's a way to fix it? Thanks for any help.

Sounds like a hardware issue, decidedly get another one.
